Our client is seeking to recruit an ETP Operator To operate the effluent treatment plant effectively.

| Qualifications | Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Chemical engineering. |
| Software | MS Office |
| Knowledge Of | Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. |
| Skills To | Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills |
Requirements
- Regulate and control the flow of effluent through the plant by operating and adjusting treatment plant pumps, motors, blowers and other equipment to maintain appropriate plant operations
- Mix and add treatment chemicals and ensure adequate chemical application according to regulations and guidelines. -
- Maintain, compile and update plant operations logs, gauge readings and reports during assigned shift
- Collect and document liquid and solid samples and perform a variety of routine water quality laboratory tests; work closely with the laboratory on testing processes; monitor laboratory results.
- Assist in periodic maintenance work, including disassembly and repair of pumps, valves, flow meters and other plant equipment
- Perform general plant facility maintenance, oil, grease and clean equipment
- Participate in the development of goals and procedures for wastewater treatment activities.
- Maintain factory cleanliness & orderliness at all times
- Perform related duties as required by the superiors
