Our client is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will manage and supervise the accounting team, ensuring that financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with Zambia's regulatory requirements, such as those set by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). The role will also involve overseeing internal controls, budgeting, tax management, and financial audits.

Requirements
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy in the organization’s financial reports in compliance with local laws (including ZRA) and international standards like IFRS.
- Perform financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and ledger maintenance.
- Train and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
- Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Establish and maintain proper internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with ZRA tax regulations and other relevant financial laws in Zambia.
- Manage tax planning and compliance with all local tax laws, including corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes.
- Monitor the company’s cash flow and manage working capital requirements.
