Our Client in the mining sector, seeks an Accountant. Must be a holder of ZICA/CA Qualification, ACCA, or equivalent, with three + years relevant experience. Experience working at one of the Big Four accounting firms will be an added advantage.

Software	MS Office (Excel and Word) and Pastel Accounting
Knowledge Of	Accounting procedures

Other Requirements	Registered Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants

Requirements

Preparation of Monthly Management Reports, including Trial Balance and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Debt Management
Prepare and maintain asset register
Cash Management Control
Maintaining internal control system
Responsible for stock control
Liaise with external auditors for the preparation of year end procedures
Prepare all statutory accounts and ensure that they are paid by deadline and that all returns are correctly completed
Prepare cost analysis
Manage monthly payroll
Debtors, Creditors and Petty cash
Ensure that Tax applications are performed
