The Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner and ultimately ensure that all addresses and other transportation details are correct before pick-up or drop-off duties.

QualificationsTransport or Logistics. Mechanical or auto electrical crafts certificate or higher will be an added advantage

Ability ToStrong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements3 – 5 years proven experience as a driver
Requirements
  • Safe Transportation:
  • Safely operate and maintain assigned vehicles, including trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • Follow all traffic rules and regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, and water levels, brakes, lights, and tires, and report any issues promptly
  • Transportation of Personnel and Materials:
  • Provide transportation for project staff, other authorized personnel, and materials to and from project sites in urban and rural areas
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transportation
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities using vehicle log sheets
  • Keep a detailed fuel log sheet to track fuel consumption, receipts, and expenses
  • Ensure all required documents, including driver's license, vehicle registration, road taxes and insurance, are up to date
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, fuelling, and ensure that regular vehicle servicing is done on assigned vehicle.
  • Report any mechanical issues or breakdowns to the Fleet Supervisor for repairs
  • Logistics Support:
