Job Presentation
The Credit Manager will lead RDG's credit department, overseeing credit risk management, customer relationships, and loyalty initiatives. This role aims to improve Portfolio at Risk (PAR) performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.

Education LevelDegree
QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
SoftwareProficient in financial software and systems (ERP, accounting software, etc.)
Knowledge OfCredit risk management, financial regulations, and internal controls
Skills ToStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability ToFoster strong collaboration between Credit Officers (COs) and sales agents
Other RequirementsCertification in Credit Management (e.g., CICM, CCMP) advantageous, and must be familiar with Paygo industry regulations and standards in Zambia
Requirements
  • Develop and implement credit risk management strategies aligned with RDG's objectives.
  • Design and execute plans to reduce PAR and improve credit portfolio performance
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the credit department
  • Supervise Credit Supervisor, Customer Loyalty Supervisor, and Credit Analysis Supervisor.
  • Review, update, and enforce credit policies and procedures
  • Oversee credit assessments, credit limit management, and debt collection
  • Track and analyze credit performance metrics (PAR, collection rates, etc.)
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate credit risks.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure aligned credit decisions. Collaborate with Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting. Engage with Customer Loyalty team to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies. Enhance customer satisfaction and retention rates. Foster strong collaboration between Credit Officers (COs) and sales agents
