This position is responsible for supporting the department in tax planning, tax advisory, tax risk management, transfer pricing management and tax compliance for the bank through continuous engagement with Zambia Revenue Authority, Tax Advisors and various bank business units.

Qualifications	Bachelor's Degree In Accountancy/ Finance/ ACCA/ ZICA
Software	Tax and Accounting Software
Knowledge Of	Tax Accounting
Skills To	Managing tax health checks, transfer pricing documentation and tax compliance with external consultants by ensuring that these assignments are timely concluded.
Ability To	Work with financial auditors and tax advisors, respond to findings and implement recommendations.
Other Requirements	Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

Providing tax advice on the tax implications on transactions undertaken by the Bank.
Timely review of tax implications of new products being introduced by the Bank
Propose tax saving measures that align with the tax laws in place from time to time
Assists minimise Transfer Pricing exposures by the Bank by recommending required transfer pricing practices, systems and procedures.
Assess the Bank's tax risks regularly and propose measures to mitigate these risks by keeping informed of changes in tax laws and regulations and advising management on potential impacts and best solution available to the Bank
Guide the Department on various aspects of technical tax matters including liaising with ZRA.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting for the Bank.
Ensure proper and well organised safe keeping and filling system of tax documents.
Build- good relationships and interact with the ZRA officers, external advisors, and auditors and develop ability to handle tax disputes.
Understand general financial information and apply it to tax solutions.
Continuous review of completeness of systems application of tax laws and procedures on core banking
