Job Presentation
Our client seeks a Credit Officer to prospect, assess, and manage customers throughout the PayGo life cycle within an assigned regional portfolio. This role ensures creditworthiness, monitors customer performance, and represents us in designated geographical areas.

Knowledge OfPaygo industry regulations and standards in Zambia, credit risk management, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Skills ToAnalyze and solve problems, sales, organize their work and business operations and manage time.
Ability ToExcellently communicate, interact with people from different backgrounds, pay attention to detail
Other RequirementsAt least 1 year in credit management or related role; Paygo industry experience is desirable. Knowledge of Tonga, Luvale, Lunda, Kaonde as you will be dealing so much with clients from the regions that use those languages.
Requirements
  • Identify and acquire new customers within assigned regions.
  • Build relationships with customers, credit agents, sales coordinators, and sales supervisors.
  • Conduct site visits and verify customer information.
  • Evaluate customer credit applications.
  • Analyze credit reports and financial statements.
  • Approve or reject credit applications based on our credit policies.
  • Monitor and manage customer credit performance.
  • Identify potential credit risks and take proactive measures.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care team to address customer issues.
  • Represent us in assigned regions.
  • Develop strong relationships with credit agents, sales coordinators, and sales supervisors.
  • Ensure our brand and values are upheld in regional interactions.
  • Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics (PAR, collection rates, etc.).
  • Provide regular reports to Credit Supervisor and management.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets.
