Our client, a rapidly growing multinational automotive sales and service company based in Lusaka, Zambia, is looking for talented and dedicated professionals to join their team. They are seeking qualified individuals for the following key positions: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of an automotive dealership’s daily operations, including staffing, procedures, operational budget, and sales monitoring.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree is preferred but not required and/or equivalent to experience related for the role

Knowledge OfAutomotive industry and trends
Skills ToStrong communication; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success

Other RequirementsThree or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is necessary
Requirements
  • Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
  • Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales
  • Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing with upper dealership management
  • Learn and uphold all compliance and regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
Salary
Between 60,000 and 70,000 ZMK (ZMW)
